Chuck Ceccarelli founded Idaho Wrecker Sales (IWS) in 1994 around the idea that wreckers (tow trucks) should be built better and last longer. That philosophy helped IWS grow into the nation’s leader of custom-built tow trucks and led Chuck to create a spinoff company to make products for the towing industry. In the Ditch™ Towing Products is a lean manufacturing company based in Mountain Home, Idaho that creates award-winning products for the towing industry, which are sold around the world. It is ITD’s belief that if it focuses on developing the products of tomorrow, invests in the technologies of the future, and empowers team members with the ability to improve their daily processes, that there can be only one outcome; success. As ITD grew and invented new products, orders began to rain in from overseas. The company enrolled in Idaho’s Export Excellence program to develop a process for vetting and developing its best export markets. 

• IWS grew two new companies that continue to develop and ship a myriad of new products.
• The workforce continues to grow from 15 to 100. 
• ITD cmpleted a million dollar 20,000 square foot facility to accommodate new machinery and explosive growth.
• ITD developed a strong global network of 140 distributors.
• ITD diversified sales with 20% to Asia & 20% to Europe.
• Export team member Jake Reynolds became an International Business Specialist with Idaho Commerce and returned to Export Excellence as a company coach.
