On June 14, the Idaho District Export Council (DEC), under the leadership of its Chair, Gerd Uitdewilligen, had the honor of meeting with Kendee Yamaguchi – the Deputy Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Field Global Markets – at Black Sage Technologies in Boise, Idaho. The DEC is immensely grateful to Black Sage and Ann Wood, the President of Black Sage and a seasoned DEC member, for graciously hosting this event.
During her visit, Ms. Yamaguchi engaged in a compelling dialogue with the attendees about various ways the U.S. Commercial Service supports exporters, gathering valuable feedback from Idaho exporters and service providers in the process.
In recognition of its remarkable accomplishments in the global marketplace, Ms. Yamaguchi presented Black Sage with an Export Achievement Award during the visit. The award was gratefully received by (left to right above) Joseph Francescon of High Point Aerotech, Ann Wood, and Dirk Manley of Black Sage – marking a significant milestone for Black Sage, which was recently acquired by High Point Aerotech. The DEC was thrilled to be a part of this exciting event!
