Jennifer Woods Welcomes New and Renewed Members to the 2024 IDEC

Jennifer Woods the new Director of the U.S. Commercial Service office in Idaho recent welcomed new and renewing members to the 2024 Idaho District Export Council (IDEC). IDEC members are appointed to four year terms by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce, an office currently held by The Honorable Gina Raimondo

Closely affiliated with the U.S. Commerce Department’s Export Assistance Centers and the U.S. and Foreign Commercial Service, over 60 DECs throughout the country support the U.S. Government’s export promotion efforts. Approximately 1,500 DEC members volunteer their time and specialized expertise to help businesses establish or increase export sales. This improves U.S. economic growth and creates new and higher-paying jobs for their communities.
